Active Exmoor is a sports tourism project focusing on supporting Exmoor's outdoor activity industry set up in 2003.
As well supporting local small businesses and event organisers and running this website we provide a regular e-news update to over 7,000 subscribers.
The project has delivered many initatives over the years including ex-Men, the Surf Bus, the OPTIC training scheme, EOAN & Exmoor Canoe Club, Exmoor Cycle Route and more recently the Exmoor Walking Festival and the Exmoor Perambulation.
Marketing and promotion of areas activities had been at the core of the project since 2006 and for the last three years we have produced a number of printed publications which can be seen here.
A part of the Exmoor Tourism Partnership, the project is currently supported by the following partners.

- West Somerset Council
- Dulverton Town Council
