Sampling local food is an increasingly important part of a holiday and Exmoor is blessed with some of the best local produce in the country. Local farmers produce lamb, beef and pork, there's an abundance of game and fresh fish and a huge variety of locally produced preserves, as well as delicious Exmoor ice-cream.

Many of Exmoor's B&Bs, restaurants and pubs pride themselves on using the finest local produce in their breakfasts and dinners, so it's easy to sample the best food around during your visit.
