Wimbleball Lake - RYA Windsurfing Courses

Wimbleball lake is a fantastic venue to learn and develop your windsurfing skills. A sport for adults/children with instruction for children of eight years and over. Courses run over two and three days.

RYA Youth Stage 1
Introduction to Windsurfing. Learn to sail the board across the wind and come back.

RYA Youth Stage 2
Improve your skills, learn to sail upwind and downwind. Tack and gybe and learn some windsurfing theory.

RYA Start Windsurfing (Two Days)
Learn the basics of this exciting sport by windsurfing in all directions and mastering rescue techniques.

RYA Intermediate Non - Planing (Two Days)
Improve your skills by taking on more challenging wind conditions and improving your manoeuvres.

Road Directions

From Tiverton take the A396, follow brown signs from the Exeter Inn roundabout to Bampton & then Wimbleball.

From Dunster take the A396 towards Dulverton; follow brown signs at Machine Cross.

From Taunton take the A39 to Washford Cross, and then the B3190 towards Bampton, the turning for Wimbleball is signed from this road.
